Your child has just completed their first exciting session of our AI Explorers program! We're thrilled to share what they learned today and how you can support their journey into the world of artificial intelligence.
The following is what your child has learned today
- Your child learned that AI is technology that helps computers recognize patterns and create new things
- We explored how AI is already part of daily life (smartphones, games, streaming services)
- Students identified AI applications they use without realizing it
- Students learned to write "prompts" - instructions that tell AI what to create
- Each student generated their own unique AI artwork related to a school subject
- They learned how to improve their results by writing better descriptions
- Show genuine interest in their AI creation
- Ask questions about what they learned
- Help them identify AI in everyday devices
- Encourage their curiosity about technology
- Share how you use AI in your work or daily life
Next week, students will learn how to use AI as a homework helper! They'll discover how AI can:
- Explain difficult concepts
- Help with research
- Create study guides
- Make learning more engaging
Please help your child identify one homework question they find challenging to bring to next week's class.
